Our son has a big sister, so he is going to definitely want to do some girly things to be like her. Today, in her absence, he has located several barrettes and with each one would so sweetly ask “Help!” I thought at first that it just meant to open each barrette so he could play with them, which is fine, but then… He started putting them in his hair. And smiling about it. I don’t have the heart to take them out because he likes them so much. Hopefully he won’t be scarred for life.

This is the view from the place we were staying. It was at the base of one of the best peaks, with lots of lifts and everything. The fresh snow made everything just right.

Of course, then when we tried to get back to Denver on Sunday afternoon, there was some problem. Roads were pretty treacherous with ice and lots of packed snow. We passed a few pretty unfortunate accidents. Even the tunnels were icy on the inside. And you might find signs like this.

But we made it home. And, let me say how nice it is to be home. So nice. I missed the boys pretty badly, and it’s good to be back with them.
